New Nfusion not working.

I got a new nfusion reciever 2days ago, i read the way to set up the reciever. i loaded nova 144. my rx # is already 130. anyway after the bin was loaded it said good so i turned everything off, but now the reciever comes on reads all zeros and the read light flashes on and off and the tv makes noise that goes with the flashing read light. its like it wants to turn on but cant. anybody know whats up?

Hey dragon. try holding the power button down a little longer than just pressing it, then press it quick agin and watch the display to see if it displayes the correct time then turn it back on by holding the power button a little longer then just pressing it you may have to do this 2 or 3 times i turned mine off by accedent and it took some playing with the power button to come back ( I think there is a 3rd diemention on the nfus power cycle that takes you to lands unkown :D );)

i didnt get that far. is there a way to factory reset from my pc? i followed the instructions found here. i have a viewsat plat so some of this is familiar.

hey I just had same problem when installing one 3 days ago
was a pain in the ass...see if it quits doing this when not connected to dish

I just had the nfusion step by step for newbies open on my laptop. i use my pc for the loader and bins cause i only have the tranfer cable for my pc.(null cable). i think the bins loaded. everything loaded and the reciever said good. turned it off and closed the loader and waited for the reciever to come back on and thats when it started just flashing 00.00 .When its done loading its suppose to bring up the menu. all it does is turn on and off.

Not sure... Might have a cold solder joint on the power supply board friend,

I had resets on mine after a heat build up... Not saying this is your problem but
just throwing it out there to try to help...

thanks. i didn't think it was software. i just wanted a second opinion before i take it back or send it away. shit i only had it 2hrs before the problem started. and yes i did take all the plastic off. lol Thanks again

I had that sort of thing with my vs ultra and i had to down load a channel list because it had no channel to come on to so it was stck in a loop of boot.

Nfusion doesn't work as other FTA boxes...

so stick to providing info pertaining to Nfusion ...!

At the present time I have my 2nd unit running with the top off and a fan on it...
Some have heat issues some do not. I am presently working on a Case mod
to add a CPU fan... As soon as I get my fans in I can post that one as well..

For the benefit of the doubt , when I loaded the new bin via the Null cable , my unit also showed 0000 , however it was able to turn on . Have you by chance tried reloading the bin again ?

why not? obviously you don't have one or you would know that nfusion never even hiccupped today while everyone else was trying to watch tv with a freeze every 30 seconds

Hey ,I do Have one I am watching it now and it is having Guide problems they do feel the wrath and I dont care what anybody says, sorry thats my opinion!

i'll give it one last try. is there a program that will allow you to factory reset from a pc?

yeah just download the factory rest file and load it like you would any other file...

using a proxy server might disconnect ur connection from ur box to IKS server... from time to time

either live with that or just turn PROXY OFF and let it connect straight!

Even with the proxy off i freeze for like 5 mins, then i get about 10 min of picture, then back to freezing for about 5 mins. What do you guys think.

I both one Yesterday, spend 5 hours playing!

It is working as charm.

Nice box nice guide and picture.

Although had some problems in beginning working for 7 min than freezes, on BV and DN, GC was always rocking so that was not connection.
I did not succeed to set-up GC to work stand alone. Missing c101 (02) and (03) added that and add correct keys can not work...
Any way via IKS is OK but spend a bit more time and now is working as charm love it.

Even you put new 144 via serial than scan sat, You have to go to download again via iks latest 144 than you must !!! do factory default rescan sats and do your set -up and it will work if your RJ 45 is OK.

note: you will need to rescan your sats this bin requires init

also: added bonus 'encrypted mac addresses' during file downloading via 'update server'
