There's a neat feature that isn't well documented (or maybe not documented at all). If you're watching your favorite live show and get a phone call or have to step out or do something, you can pause the live feed and continue watching where you left off at a later time. Once you are recording the live feed you can even fast forward through commercials or other uninteresting parts, until you come to the point where you are back to live TV.
Here's how to do it. (It's been requested that this gets made easier, so look for that in a future release... this HOW TO will be updated at that time.)
- Press the "LIST" button on your remote.
- Press the "PAUSE" button on your remote (the "||" button)
- Press the "EXIT" button
- Press the "PAUSE" button to pause
- Press the "PLAY" button to continue
- Now use "<<" or ">>" to rewind or fast forward, or directional left and right
