Thanks and new files have come out but the sequence is ok, it worked for me, its important that the files are installed the right sequence. you have to install the boot first, then the files, nobody here seems to to know apparently, just heads up

The boot file is the basic operating system for the box. It connects the rest of the software to the hardware. It provides basic bin file loading functions.
Your new Phoenix came with boot 1.30. You do not need to reload anything. In fact you are way better off not putzing with it. You can screw up your box BBBIIIGG time messing with this unnecessarily.
I have done Nova since it came out and Phoenix too.
P.s. Factory File is the same. Unless you have your box full blown Puka'ed up, you don't need to load that either. Absolute and total waste of time.
To load a new bin, simply load it. The coders will build in a Factory Default when one is required. You can do one manually if it makes you feel better but then you will have to go through and reconfigure all of your satellites and settings, and rescan all of your channels. Latest bin for Phoenix is 1.51.
That Nova How2 is like waaaay old. Things were just evolving back then and boxes got shipped with old boot files in them that limited access to the hardware. That is why they told people to load the new boot file. OMG, man. Look at where that file came from and the date on it. Things have come a long way since then.
