Help Please.

i have a new 700 can someone help me get it up and running. I've done everything im suppose to, it wont pick up the satelite and ive scanned for channels but it is still showing a black screen. Thank you.

well start by posting exactly what ya did...and what are your settings set to?

Can someone tell me what to do for the captive work 700. My settings are:
satelite name 41.Nimiq 1 (91W) Transponder 12253/V/20000/7/8 LNB Freq. 11250 LNB type: normal 22KHz off Idseqc Number LNB3 Legacy SW: off Motorized system: none. My strength is 78% and i am not picking up any quality. Im running a wire right from the LNB right to the machine, and i still have no quality. But i have a 600 premium and when i run the same wire to it i am getting a 85& strength and quality, but why cant i get on the 700 the same. Sometimes when i switch the Legacy to SW44 the quality comes to 96% strength and quality, and when i try to scan for channels i loose it. And i have the latest bin file in it too. Thanks if anybody can help.

Are you picking up any other satellites? ie only Nimiq is a problem? I'm wondering 'cause you have Diseqc set to LNB3. If you are using a switch,try another,it could be bad. Run a line without the diseqc switch,see if that helps.

Im not using a switch, but the only way i can get channels if i change it to SW 21 Dish 2, thats the only way i can get satelite but im not using a switch im just using a straight cable from LNB to receiver, thanks for the reply smack.
