Sorry for asking too many questions =)
I am a real newbie and was wondering... where do I point my satellite??? I want to catch either bev or dn? What satellite is the best to aim at?
Is it better to aim on 91 nimiq or 110 or 119 echostar.
thank you in advance for your time... will wait for response.
oh and one more thing =)
If i do a bin upload to my receiver, do I need to input new keys as well? Dont understand the whole key thing...

It depends on how many LNB's you have and if you prefer canadian or american programming. A dish 500 is called that because you combine 119 and 110 to get 500 channels, now its more like 670. 91 has over 420 channels alone. I always say to get the best "bang" for your buck get both Di** and B3V this way if one is down you have the other. After loading a new bin all you have to do is switch to a encrypted channel and allow software to AR your ke*s for you.
Hope this helps.

I only have one dish and a dual lnb.. so i guess i need to get a bracket, another lnb and a switch? so i can have both 110 and 119.
Which is which? dn or bev on 110 or 119?
oh yeah ummm, i need to set up 2 receivers... so what do i need in order to work the 110 and 119 set up for 2 receivers? Do i get 2 satellites? or 1 satellite 2 dual lnbs and a switch??? i dunno.. im so confused =)
will wait patiently ... thanks again for replying at first.... really appreciate the help.

Ok that pretty good start, Get a "Y" adapter and a DSS "D" shaped dual LNB and i would get 119/110 to start and the receiver usually comes with a DiSEqC switch, get 1 more preferable a Chieta WSD2041 HD 4x1 for like 10-15 depending on where you get it from. Then since each LNB is dual output its pretty simple.
119 dual output 1 outgoing coax cable to port 1 of 1st DiSEqC switch 1 outgoing coax cable to port 1 of 2nd DiSEqC switch.
110 dual output 1 outgoing coax cable to port 2 of 1st DiSEqC switch 1 outgoing coax cable to port 2 of 2nd DiSEqC switch.
Each switch will have open port 3 and 4, terminate those with a F-Terminator until future expansion as not to get water into the board.
Each DiSEqC switch to each STB.
Done

110 and 119 would be your best bet.

Is it just me or is there even a working file for the CS5000.( dn should work ) Support has been stopped for now anyways. This would been my first concern before doing everything else.
