One would think that with the Ariza loader you could load a J-Tag file for the Vortex 2700 as a Boot file? I'm guessing that one would have to mod the Vortex file or not but you would still ahave to mod the Vortex(2700) updates for the Ariza remote to work. I've seen some Bootloader Conversions showing up for other receivers lately and wondered if anyone had tried this yet?:eek:

Anything is possible, but is it practical? I mean you can make a Jtag cable in 10 mins with stuff thats laying around or cheap and easy to find. So if I had the skills, I'd have to ask myself if its worth the effort to discover and implement a serial cable conversion.
However since you have to Jtag a Ariza Factory bin to truly erase the chip I'd assume its either impossible, or impractical.
