After set-up screen has completed press F4 on the remote and the 23 digit key will be shown (for all receivers sent after Jan 15th). If you continue to have problems PM me and I can give you the contact at Neosat that can help you.

make sure you get the right number. there are many numbers on the box/receiver but only one is the serial number for the receiver

btw, which one you got, the ipro 2k or the 2k?

:cool:I have owned and setup over 10 stbs over the past few years. This Neosat ipro 2000 Plus is the first where I couldn'r get anything either with 284, the latest standalone bin (285) or through IKS. First of all, I used USB Stick to load the latest factory firmware and then the latest bin. I'm using the same settings for satellites 110 and 119 I've used for the other receivers and I'm getting strong signals on all tps. Finally, after reading where I rename the latest software, I was able to get most channels with standlone s/w 285.

My biggest puzzle is when entering the serial keys (the longest one) from underneath the receiver, I keep getting "server disconnected, because invalid serial key." And, I've tried all servers 1-10. I've double-checked the numbers several times and they are correct! I've turned IKS ON and OFF, auto roll ON and OFF, and still no success! I'm beginning to believe that the keys are invalid and wonder where I could get some that do work.

Your help would be appreciated. Thanks!

the number isnt on the bottom of the receiver, it is 23 characters long and is usually on the out side of the box that the receiver comes in. if you enter the serial number in correctly it will work. i know it is a big hassle but it makes sure that the unit cannot be cloned

for problems with the neosat 2000 serial number not being auto populated, turn power off on unit and dongle. power up dongle. once the light turns steady green, then turn on receiver. once the ethernet starts up, the number should be there instead of the xxx-xxx-xxx
