Sorry I'm a newbie to all of this. I just purchased a few nfusion solaris receivers but I do not know how to program them in order to get direct tv, etc. Any help anyone can give me would be much appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

thats pretty much it, don't want to seem like a crank ass here, but a little looking around, and I am sure you will find what yea need... The Solaris and Nova are cut from same cloth, get the files need for Solaris ans follow directions and giver...
Plus if your haveing troubles, its better to know what your problem is so we can trouble shoot it...with out that the crystal ball is fuzzy...

after I program one receiver will the rest of them be ok or do I have to program each receiver indivdually?

About the ip address part. I heard when the receiver goes down since the solaris doesn't have a usb port that it has to be fixed through its internet connection but I heard in order to get the fix I'll need an anonymous proxy server...can you tell me anything about that?

question with the solaris the ippvr is your computer... you can access what you've recorded on to your computer hard drive from the receiver. so say i have other files on my computer that i downloaded and now want to watch on my tv... can i access them through my receiver like i can can access shows i've recorded through the ippvr as long as they are all in the same folder? Or do the files i want to access through the receiver have to be a specific format?
thanks

i just installed my dish and finished programing my receiver but i am unable to get any channels to show up... it says "no service available. to change channels, press up or down. i-off / n-on / p-on / emul-off / suns connected."
can anyone help me out and let me know how to get my solaris up and running?
i have already installed v150_1 also.
i have the powerline adapter connected but it isn't always showing up on my computer... do i have to be connected to the internet for my solaris receiver to work?
hopefully someone can take a little time and help me out.
thanks, peace

i got it up now but only a few channels are coming through. i scanned for channels also but i'm still not able to watch a lot of channels. also at times it's saying "suns disconnected." what does "suns" represent?
also can anyone tell me why i am not able to watch most of the channels. my signal is strong so it does not make sense to me.
thanks

Do you have strong "quality" along with signal?
Post your antenna settings and tell us what kind of dish you have.............

2 things i'm wondering though... on some of my receivers i have channels that i don't have on other receivers. so how do i pick up all of the same channels on all of my receivers? i did channel search.....
2nd question... if i put files such as avi movies into the same folder that my ippvr records to will i be able to play them also on my tv just like the shows i record with the ippvr?
thanks again.
