hey guys can't to find it in the threads so i will have to ask!
the converted 25-2700 pansat that has been changed from puff to lzma can you use the ordinary puff bins or does it have to say lzma only? I thought i read somewhere you can use puff bins for lzma but you couldn't use lzma bins if you only had puff on your box! any help app.

Best to stick with
b75 for that conversion
lzma for that conversion
puff for that conversion
They are converted with different compression methods, and different ""garbage" taken outa the files, in order to keep up with the demand
on the lmtd memory of the receiver.
Hope that helps a little
They are easy enough to convert back from, and to,
the conversions, lzma and puff but usually they are out
within a very very short time of eachother, so not sure a few
hours is worth the time or not for ya
this is what i'm going by, posted with the original lzma conversion
thread on it
"" As for the binfiles themselves...they will have to be CLEARLY marked 256_lzma(PUFF.).bin or something of the sort.
As always, if your not sure, DON'T do it !!! ""

Converting over to the Puff files is actually very simple
and straight forward if you follow the steps exactly. See here
http://www.dssgeeks.com/forums/pansat-2500-converted-t32922/index.html?p=114209#post114209
You cant miss any steps or files, or it will not work,
if you follow them exactly, you will be fine and the new Puff 262
file is working great with no issues at all
Switching back and forth between lzma and puff isnt that hard
either, but again, got to make sure to follow the instructions
carefully,
http://www.dssgeeks.com/forums/cs-256t-puff-t32921/index.html?p=114207#post114207
Check out the links and see if/what you may have missed, and if any
of it helps you get it goin and let us know
