I am looking for another STB w/PVR.
How is the currently release performing?
Are the PVR features working well?
USB drive powered or USB port power if it matters.

Thanks

Works great for me on my cw800. The hard drive makes a difference don't use a cheap external case.

I may do the same. Is this PVR user friendly and all I would need is an external hard drive? Just looking for an opinion. I'm definately staying with Captiveworks since their support is absolutely outstanding.

I use a 250gb Iomega external hard drive formatted with NTFS and it works great. Iomega does not make their own hard drives. They put Hitachi/IBM made hard disks in their own enclosures. I really like their enclosure; it is well-machined and heavy duty. It has its own power source and runs very quiet.
2 1/2" hard drive are smaller and usually runs off the 5V power from the USB port. Generally they are slower and run at 5400rpm.
