Has anyone out there had this happen? Whenever a show has a bright white part in it like a white room or a commercial with a white background on it I lose picture for a brief second while it is on. I thought it was my projector or my switch but I can have a white screen on my other devices with no issue only the nova does it. It is really frustrating every time a bright white part comes up on TV I lose picture. Any ideas would be appreciated. Another note maybe it has something to do with it I came from a cs5000 and a viewsat extreme which did not do this and seemed to have better picture quality. I notice in particular on sat 110 the picture has lines and is more blocky, any writing that is on the screen is not as readable. I am not complaining about the reduced picture quality as the nova always works just wondering if this is normal?

I don't have this problem here friend but, a few Ideas:
Mess with the TV Aspect Ratio - Menu > System Settings > 0000 (or your password) > TV Aspect Ratio:
4:3Pan
4:3
16:9Full
16:9Pillar
As soon as I start having issues (Be it Small or Major) The 1st thing I do is:
Factory default - Menu > System Settings > Factory Default > OK
Re-flash boot flash

Re-flash current flash Version
Menu > Internet > S/W Upgrade > S/W Version Check > Update
Re-scan sats

If those donot cure it I would look into your Video Siganl cable from your
STB Output to TV / Home theater system.
I hope this helps you out.. Some things I put in this post may be redudndant
for you but, I like to be specific in my posts to better help other that may
not know the smaller things... Please repost your findings...
Thanks Friend
