I load 201 bin to pansat 2500 and it acts normal after download. It flashes "puff" a couple times, then it displays "on", then it goes to a channel number.
I unplug it to move it to the tv room. I plug it back into the outlet and it flashes "puff" over and over again. It won't switch to "on" in it's display.
I tried reloading bin several times, reset button, and am doing everything the same as before(ie bin 199 etc).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thx,
Dex

From what I have read, turning the unit OFF after programming, screws it and you then have to reprogram it agin. Someody suggested turning the box power off ONLY after the FIRST "P" after programming, then plug it where you need to take it and tuen back on. Say, if you have to unplug your box and carry it to your computer. Otherwise, just don't turn it off til a better bin comes along.

I just tried what "Fedex" said. it works.. just after the download. You'll see the "P" just click of the power at the back of the box. Rehook it to the TV. It takes a bit but it does finally pull thru.

I'm not a tester, but I played one on TV.

Thanks.
That did the trick.
I suspect the bin has issues as I don't get locals and some other channels anymore. (Not complaining)

Just turned on the tv. Same thing again. It flashes Puff even after turning pansat off for 10 seconds. Any clue to this problem? It was fine lst night. Do I have to reload the new bin everytime I shut off the Pansat?

tried all fixes, and new bin just released, none working for me. original bin is bad, so all mod bins have problem. better wait for new bin.

Yes, if you keep turning the box off at the back. Just keep it on after you program it again.
