Reviving/recovering a cnx

Good day.
My cnx mini is frozen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's stuck on ch 71, and nothing works I tried turning it off for a bit from the back toggle, still no response. I read in the ultimate cnx guide that I need to download 2 files, CNX_Util_beta_version and a".LDR". I've looked everywhere and can't see these.
A little help please.

Thanks for the help but now I'm having a hard time finding a cable for my computer to download the software I need to restart the mini with. I don't have an extra serial port on my pc so I tried to get an adapter and the windows software keeps telling me that it won't recognize the hardware. I think I'm in over my head here and I'm just going to take it in where I bought it from and hopefully they can do something for me.

You should load the software that came with the cable first, then you connect the cable.

Cable should be a Null Modem cable.. pins 2 and 3 are crossed...

But before attempting a recovery... which is ONLY if the unit displays 100... so don't use that ...I would just unplug it for 10 minutes and plug it back in... see if that helps...
