service not available i-on/n-on/P-off/Emul-off

loaded new 1.44 re-scanned birds for DN did all usual settings and now i get i-on/n-on/p-off/emul-off not sure what I am missing the p-off thing is new :noclue:

This things like a woman ,if you look at it the wrong way it stops putting out!I loaded the new bin via cable.checked s/w and all is good r3x 1.30 sof ver: 1.44 ipvr 0.77 crc is checked,TP ch auto update -on,network connection -on ,auto update check -on,DHCP/STATIC = DHCP,PROXY CONNECTION -ON,EPG UPDATE-ON,DN AUTOROLL-ON,EMULATOR-OFF,PRIMARY CHANNEL -DN. not sure what I am missing but did it all twice now from start to finnish as per the how to guides in Nf support:noclue:

I started thinking when I first got the P-off message i went to proxy setting and turned it on that did not work so i went back and turned it off again and the darn thing started working. So I rest my case it is like a woman;) :noclue:

turned off power with remote last night and tonight when I turned it back on I am getting the same problem.I did a reboot on both router and box with rear toggle switch any one have same problems, it is startting to piss me off!

proxy off u can turn epg off too and do it manually
no red light any channels??

V-ROD iks is locking up sometimes still over here .I would say its staying on 90to 95% here.

P needs to be off ... if you have P turned on then you have to enter the IP of the proxy server you are using. If yuo have P turned on and have no proxy IP then there is no way the unit can connect to the IKS server ...and YES! when you start messing with the internet settings on the box it usually does take a hard reboot for the settings to change

What is happening when I am watching a show and then out of the blue it goes to no service, I did the switch off on the back and still down. I am just wondering what it is doing when this happens:noclue:

Working fine on b^v here . After I read this , I went and turned the box on and took a bit to get channels up but working . Still freezes for a couple seconds every hour using proxy but I am not complaining .

My Bev was down here as well without using a proxy but both back up now and fine. Point I am trying to make to all the ones who push the panic button immediately is to wait awhile...could be any number of reasons as to why it is down since the IKS server is in the far east it makes a lot of hops to get to your box.

As for proxy freezing, look for a different proxy. Mine might freeze once or twice a day at most so if you have a good proxy then it should really not be any different than running without a proxy as far as reliability is concerned

I am not in panic mode becuase I have VS ,SV to back me up ,I was just wondering what the goings on is when it does this kind of thing .I am just learning about NF and what to and what not to worry about :)

All 3 providers are rocking!

I both this STB two days ago set it up had initially problems it take me 10 min to set up to watch but had lot of problems until after 5 h succeed and is rocking still on all 3 DN 100%, BV 100% and GC 100%.

Did not succeed stand alone only!!!:coolup:
