I bought a new Solaris ,should receive it today ,my question is , is
Solaris up , even with limited channels ,I want to know before I do
anything to it .

yes it up with file 151 on ds and bev more channels on bev or nimiq1

Just received my new Solaris ,going to set it up tonight ,I hope
charlie is up in my area ,noticed they even included a IPPVR
installation guide C.D..:coolup:

I installed my new Solaris tonight , it was a piece of cake ,maybe 15 minutes
tops , to get it running on the available charlie channels.
I noticed the heating problem on it , just like the Nova , so I'm going to
install a heat sink in it , same as I did on the Nova ,and a new idea for
everybody to do on all your Nfusions ,I noticed they sit to low on the
table top , if you feel the table after using your box you'll notice it's warm , :coolup:
so what I did I took four rubber or plastic feet I had from an old microwave
about 1/2" or 3/4" and crazy glued them to the bottom of the box so
now it sits higher on the table ,and allows air circulation helps it run cooler.
If you don't have an old microwave laying around ,you can go to any
electronics or hobbiest store and buy them .they are really inexpensive.
