sonicview vs coolsat?

hi all, i have had coolsat for a long time, but now it has gone away. :( everyone is telling me sonicview. can someone tell me if it is just as easy to load, and how you do it? is it with my thumb drive like my coolsat? i would like to know that i will be able to use it, before i shell out the bucks.:confused:

I have both. I like the ease of use of the PVR on the CS 7100 as compared to the SV360P. However, the support for the SV has pretty much been unmatched by any other. It is easy to load and set up as well. If it were my money, I would go with the SV.

You can't go wrong with Sonicview. They have the best support in the bussines. Good luck.

since were on this topic. which is better sonicview or viewsat? i am looking at the low level pvr viewsat. which is better in terms of support? I screwed up already once with my cs 7100, don't want to do it again.

Both have the best support now.
Sonicview has the better picture quality
Don't get the lower end model PVR viewsat. Its too slow. Spend the few extra cakes you have for the more powerfull PVR units that sonicview and viewsat carry.
I would personally wait to see if and when the N3 fix comes out first

Any & all Sonicview products are the best in FTA today.......very user friendly.....load latest bins or rom files in less than 2 minutes via USB drive.....& the most important.....the SUPPORT IS AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME......Simply the best!! Been up since 1/9/2009 to date with NO PROBLEMS!! Can't get better than that! Must I say more? Don't think so!:coolup::coolup:
