after trying to set up favores the unit keeps locking up. I have to shut it down to reboot it. how do I fix it. Just got unit last week and installed the last files on here. any one can help.

I had a similar problem. My unit died after I tried to select a favorite list; even shutting down did not help. The unit always boots and locks to the same channel; no video, no sound, only dark screen. I bought the receiver in December.

I think I made a mistake on buying Satopia; should have gone to a more popular brand.

this problem usually arises from a bad file which needs recoded. Many stbs have been booting with the ECMS over the last month or so.

I loaded the receiver with the new file.
Still not working. Should I trash my Satopia?

This is my favourite receiver, but mine has also been freezing and it's getting annoying. A new file is needed to fix this problem and then you will see the benefit of having a Satopia.:)

satopia is fine, just need to be patient at times

I seem to be having the same problem. I have had the receiver for over a year now and the unit just started locking on me.
