entered IP address of box in browser ... and nothing opened up ...:D

Hi , Nokia I don't know what you are doing wrong but I did test mine after that i saw your post.
internet explore 7
put nfusion ip on my main computer
small box pop up that ask for username and password.
username = admin
password = 0000
I got the webloader ver 1.0

I did not try from my laptop.

it worked...

i needed to reboot my PC first.

and i loaded the 1.44 using the webloader...

handy dandy tool ...instead of hooking the serial cable & using loader.

next is the proxy thingy majigy...

not sure whats it used for ...:noclue:

found this little how to ...

and this new proxy feature is meant for paranoid people that need to hide behind a proxy :D

For testing purposes ...

this will likely cause a bit of momentary freezing, and depending upon the proxy owner (somewhere in Australia) it may even get shut down.

Go to Menu -> Internet -> Proxy Connection

Turn proxy "on" (note this will cause picture to freeze after 20 or 30 seconds ... don't panic.)

Go down to "Proxy Server IP" and click "OK"

use the up - down - left right buttons to enter the IP address 123.049.042.162 and hit "OK"

Go down to the "Proxy Server Port" and hit "OK"

Use the up -down - left -right buttons to enter 8080 and hit "OK.

Leave the menu

Shut down and restart the nFusion.

You should now be watching TV and getting the IKS over TCP through a proxy server in Australia.

After you're sick of it, go back into the Proxy menu and turn it off.

-webloader 'any' unit on local network can now be loaded via any pc

how you access 'webloader' is by typing the box you want to load
in the web browser 'address' line enter 'admin' as user '0000' pass
select 'browse' pick file then 'upload file' all done in under 2secs

proxy use is menu > internet > proxy connection under this
proxy on/off (on it is looking for valid proxy)
proxy ip (the proxies ip) user input must be valid and of good speeds to support it
proxy server port (port the proxy uses)

also: added bonus 'encrypted mac addresses' during file downloading via 'update server'
