updating files with usb

My box isnt recognizing files on my usb zip drive. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. Tried to format drive but still no action please help. Anybody else have this problem? Thanks!

Format your ZIP drive in FAT32..............
Make sure you unZIP the file to your desktop before you send it to your ZIP drive...........
