usb problem

I got the newest file and downloaded it into my usb but when I went to download it into my reciever my reciever was staying the same there was no way for me to download the file. My reciever won't even take the new file with null cable. Can anyone help me. Thanks:mad:

the 7000 uses a serial cable. if your using the 7000 loader once you select the file cycle the power on the back of the reciever and the file should load.

I've tried that too but nothing wants too work.

before loading a new try try reading a key file from tyhe reciever. it dosent matter what is read here all you are interested in is weather you can read from the reciever or not.

as mentioned be sure you have a serial cable and not a null cable, they look the same.

katkill, i have the same USB problem. My coolsat 7000 will not open widow so i can download a file. Yes it is unziped and i have hard rebooted from the back. It has been this way since i put 193 on. It just won't open window so the file can be selected for downloading.Can someone please help!!!!!!

My Coolsat 7000 has the exact same problem. Have tried all of the above plus more.
Some help would be appreciated.

having the same problem 2 i thought maybe it was my usb stick so i went and got another one still no go
