Try reformatting the stick or try another stick and see if that works.
This will let us know if its the USB stick at fault or not

I have 5 sticks and already reformated them all and still no go. Can you think of anything else. The receivers came from the buyback program.

Do you plug in the USB stick with the stb turned off ? As in rear switch, not front "standby mode" button. See if that makes a difference. By the way,I've had no reports of problems with any rcvr's from the buyback ( I did a dozen )

No its plug in when the machine is on. Yes I have sent 3 boxes of six in each box and have two that don't work and have emailed captiveworks and got no reply. It gives a E029 message.

Have you tried loading in the factory file via cable method followed by the current file via cable method?

When trying to load files via the cable way, are you using the correct cable?
iF yes......
Can you try another cable of the same type just to see if your cable is good or bad?
