Can anyone please explain why out of nowhere's they start asking for the serial number from the machine's of the CW700S and will they ask for the serial number now on every time we down load new files or this a one time thing.
I hear the reason is because they are trying to eliminate all the clones for this unit and if the serial number doesn't match you won't be able to download any files so please input to me any information you might have regarding this request for the serial numbers.
Thank You

CP from Canusan,
This was his response on posted serials to be inputted:
"You have no clue what you saying here. No one knows what will happen. You can enter all 111111111's and it will take it as well. This is just a serial number check no more no less. They said if you enter incorrectly your receiver may not work. I think they are referring to later bin files. No one that I know of clone or real have report a failed receiver. I think you should follow instructions or you might be left behind. Experimenting at this point could be a bad thing. Correct me if I am wrong but no one has reported a killed box as of yet. I would be careful in what you do. I would follow instructions if you have a legit box. If you know you have a clone then go for it does not matter I guess. Nothing to loose. I read a post from a user that has a legit box , as least he said he does and inputted the same serial on 2 of his units using the same serial. Tell me why would you do that. Why take the chance that later you have messed up. Why all the talk from people who have legit units wanting to try and help out the clones I do not understand. Let the chips land were they may. Either follow instructions and be safe or experiment and maybe your legit box will not work in the future. Just not a good idea to tell people how to go around what instruction say to do when their is not an issue. Creating new issues for unknown issues is a bad idea. "
