Help!! VS plantinum lite

I am new here. Could any friend here please teach me how to find update file from this forum for my receiver Vs plantimum lite?? Thanks a million! :)

One quick question for you do you have it set up and just needing the new file or are you needing help setting it up too?

Thanks for reply. everything is set up. Just need regular update. Before, An agent sent me file and i updated it using my computer. But i have to pay him $10 each month. besides i found he over-charged me for the receiver ($180). SInce we have all nice friends here who can help people with the receiver. I prefer to learn to do by myself. Hope i can get help here..thanks

you can get your help here that is what we are here to do. if you will scroll down the home page you find a section that is for receiver files this is where they are posted by receiver type i will try to point you in the direction that you need to go.

dear friend,
I looked at the receiver types on the homepage and could not find my type (vs plantimum lite). but i went to the website you sent me and downloaded the file which is exactly the same file that the agent sent to me. from the description of the file (release note) the file seems to be for vs 2000 plantium. I guess my model is compatible with VS 2000 plantinum and next time i need to search for my update or any FAQ for this model. Am i right? by the way, if i accidently uploaded a wrong update file to my receiver, would it be causing any problem to my receiver? My loader is loader2 v1.0 thank again..

yes your receiver is the same as the platinum it uses the same bin just a different name, yes if something wrong was added to your receiver it would act weird, exactly what is it doing this way I or someone else might be able to help you

the platinum lite is the new name for the platinum...

so as mentioned it takes the PLAT/LITE files
