VS Platinum Lite Discontinued

Yes that is right Viewsat has discontinued the Viewsat Platinum Lite. The VS Line now only consists of USB loading receivers with the VS7000 PVR being the only Non-USB flash drive loadable receiver by Viewsat. Though it does have USB it is USB to PC. The VS platinum and VS Platinum Lite brings an end to the legace which started Viewsat. This receiver went through many changes from the original Viewsat VS2000 to the VS Platinum and then finally the VS Platinum Lite. It has been a great work horse and still is. While trying to find the VS Platinum Lite will be harder as stock depletes from dealers the 3rd party support will live on.

I find this to be ironic because I just bought one of these yesterday along with 2 Dish 500 dual lnb dish's for 50 bucks lol.\
Set the receiver up for the kids downstairs and after putting the correct files in it everything works excellent. Nice little receiver.
Not sure if I will ever use the dish 500 dish's because I dont think they are compatible with my Self powered EMP Centauri switch. Will look into it later.
