Wanna clone a Microyal 1200..can I ?

I still have my faithful Microyal 1200 FTA rcvr who's support was dropped a few years ago... I was wondering if I could Jtag it and flash it into some other type of receiver say Pansat or even a Coolsat 5K...Can this be done and how should I proceed ?

I also have a Strong 2500 receiver FTA only...could this be converted also ?
