Well after playing around with this receiver loading latest boots, loading bins and all that good
stuff just to find out that you MUST have a live internet connection in order for the picture to
appear (At least with these latest files), I was a little worried because of the fact I now had to
run a RJ45 or network cable from the router downstairs basement to the upstairs.

This was just one concern, the other was what kind of wireless access point or wireless adapter I
could find that had a (RJ45) network connection so that the receiver could hook up to it so I
wouldn't have to run this cable.

I found that there was not many to choose from, and the ones I found were expensive or no longer
available like the Linksys Wireless Gaming Adapter WGA54G. Now all the models only come with USB
connections. Believe me I searched everywhere I could think of. There was a few other models out
there but with the same results. (expensive or no RJ45 hook up)

The other way would be to get your hands on a Linksys router WRT54g V8 and FLASH it with propper
DD-WR Flash to convert it to a 4 port wireless Access Adapter so your Nfusion can connect wirelessly.
The software is easy to find on-line and the routers are avialable but you have the risk of Bricken
the router. With success you would have spent some time flashing and about $60 -$100 bucks.

I even tried different Print servers but they were just as expensive and most of them won't just be
and access point and software is required.

This was getting discouraging only because I now had to spend about $220 for receiver and about $150
because I couldn't find "Linksys router WRT54g V8".

HERE IS THE SOLUTION AND MAN I'M HAPPY

I called a local PC store and told him what I was looking for and he too said that it was hard to get
anything like that with an RJ45 hook up that doesn't require software.

He then said that he got these fairly new product called "TP LINK" that makes routers and networking
devices and that there was something there called "TP LINK 54M WIRELESS Access Point" and it looks
like it might do the trick but wasn't sure if it need software or not, and if it only works for PC's.
The price was around $29.00 and I was sure that this wouldn't work after finding all the other prices
for the other models. WELL HERE IS THE RESULTS:

MODEL:
TP-LINK Wirless Access Point
Model#: TL-WA501G
Price: $29 - $39
Default IP: 192.168.1.1

Does it work? - AMAZINGLY! - this device is not only well priced at $29.00 but it is capable of every
config you can think of. Setup was easy and explainations were in the devices menus layout to help
you setup with in seconds. Bridgable to just wireless Access Point with DHCP. IT WORKS GREAT!!!!

I hope this helps anyone trying to get your receiver running without those cables.

(99% of PC problems are between the keyboard and chair)- LOL - Cheers!

Cool man, good to know.

Im using The Netgear XE-102 adapters; they work fine as well, so that you wouldn't have to run a long cable to the Nfusion. Their 30 bucks as well, and are optional with most nfusion purchases now too.

I am a little short for wiring . I should have ordered the netgear with the Nfusion instead of just gettin the Nfusion with the hard wired Cat 5 . Its cheaper if you purchase the net gear with the box . I e mailed the sponsor . $69.95 plus shipping if you want the netgear . Hope this helps if you are planning to make a purchase .

I got it from a PC shop "cutting edge computers" on sale- original was $39.99.

I guess D-Link makes one now with a USB plug as well used to power up with laptops.
It comes with a case and all. Same price $39.99,
I'll post the details later.
