without internet connection ... ur Nfusion won't open up channels...!

either hook it with a net cable ...

or get a wireless adapter to get internet connection...

other than that... theres nothing to be done!

OK this is not really rocket sceince and this is posted over and over again but here we go man!

1- turn off everything (Nfusion using back switch, router, computer)

2- you need a cable to go from netgear to STB and another cable to go from netgear to router

3- turn on computer and router, verify you have internet connection

4- turn on nfusion

5- menu/internet/network connection = on

6- network information should show IP info .. DHCP/STATIC should be set to DHCP

other settings to turn off until you get box running and know what they do which will come with familiarity and reading are

manu/internet/proxy connection = off
menu/ user settings/dolby digital, DN auto, Bev auto, Emulator= OFF

REBOOT STB again using back switch and providing your disecs are configured right and you have already scanned in channels you should have tv

no sense reading that jumbled crap as it is so messed up it would confuse a rocket scientist at this point....

setting up any FTA is usually no more than 3 or 4 steps. With the Nfusion it is configuring the network settings themselves that is causing issues. Nothing really difficult about it but if you are not computer literate and have some networking experience then you are going to have problems with this box. As I have been saying all along the Nfusion is not a box for the free TVer

what sats r u pointed at? what dish, lnb, switch are you using? has this setup worked on a different receiver?

i think to help the most we need to know all the the settings entered into the machine.

hit menu -> antenna settings -> list these

hit menu -> internet -> list these

hit menu -> user settings -> list these

I think You should bypass the net gear for now and run a cable from your router to your receiver to reduce a variable, Get the receiver working then play with the net gear to go wireless ;)

i agree a hardwire connection is the easiest way to connect.

do that then lets troubleshoot all the settings.

if your typing here the internet works on the computer.

we need to know the ip adress on your computer.

DO THIS - click start -> click run -> type cmd and press ok -> type ipconfig /all -> POST here what your IP adress is

eg.192.168.1.108 <- an ip a router would give
eg. 67.42.25.16 <- an ip from an internet provider

after you post your computer IP and we'll get your nfusion up and running.
