i got it to work.

had software 1.53-0
i did not see 1.53-1 anywhere, in the file section it says mandatory update file not 1.53-1

mandatory update is 153.1 file

IP & GATEWAY should not be the same!

ur GATEWAY is the router IP 192.168.002.001

ur IP ADD should be 192.168.002.XXX (any number that is above 001 )...

PVR server IP should be the IP of ur PC

so...

turn off all ...MODEM + ROUTER + Phoenix + PCs

then start MODEM and let it boot

then router and let it boot

then ur PC

Then ur Phoenix...

check the SW version on ur Phoenix and make sure its 153.1

if not ...load it with loader & serial cable and check again

That is correct, stb to router, make sure your router if security is set will allow the stbs address acces. Please read Nokia's post #16 again, as you stated conflicting IP & Gateway address in post #9 as he pointed out..............
